The C.A.T4+ & Genny4 enables users to detect and map underground utilities such as pipes, data cables and electrical lines. When using the C.A.T4+ with the Genny4 you can locate hidden utilities that would not emit sufficient signal strength on their own. The C.A.T4+ also has a “strike alert” feature which provides a visual warning of shallow utilities which could be at risk if overlooked. In addition, the C.A.T4+ has a “depth” function which provides an estimate of depth for the utilities you’re searching for.
